What need:
- root permission.
- a second partion SD card.
You should have two partions SD card both should be primary.
The first FAT partion standard SD card storage. The second partion used lication files be ext2, ext3, ext4 FAT32.
Some phones lack ext2, ext3 ext4 file stem support may get mount errors “no such device”, “invalid argument”. These phones need ext2.ko ext3.ko modules even some additional modules be able mount. Us FAT32 second partion will eleminate such problems, because FAT32 supported phones.
Link2SD does not create second partion, need create it self. You use any partion manager such Minitool, Paragon, Easeus etc. t.
How it works:
Link2SD mounts second partion of SD card makes OS mounts it at boot .
When press “Create Link” bton Link2SD moves apk file, dalvik-cache (.dex) file l files (.) SD card’s 2nd partion creates symbolic links original directories.
Note: On Android 1.6 2.1, shortc widget of should be re-added homescreen if move apk file.
You remove links p lication files back phone. Just click “Remove Link” bton.
Some points
- Stem lications should not be linked SD card. Link2SD does not allow se lications be linked.
- When connect phone PC mass storage, Android unmounts first FAT partion b second partion remains mounted. Theree linked lications are not affected be run with problems.
- Link2SD does not move lication’s private data files; it moves apk, dex (dalvik-cache) l files.
